3PL & KGE Baltic Coordinate on Boiler Shipment for UK Project
19th February 2025

PCN members, 3p Logistics and KGE Baltic have worked together to deliver three boilers from Lithuania to the United Kingdom. Each boiler had a height of 4m.
Construction on the replacement Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) at Edmonton EcoPark began in early 2022 and is progressing with a good level of productivity on site.
The substantial first phase of the civil construction works is now nearing completion. The workforce carrying out the activities covered by the National Agreement for the Engineering Construction Industry (NAECI) is currently delivering the structural steelwork for the boiler, flue gas treatment area and access platforms.
This project (click here for more details) is North London Waste Authority's ambitious plan to redevelop the over 50-year-old Edmonton EcoPark, delivering a new sustainable waste hub to replace the existing energy from waste plant and provide flagship recycling facilities for north London’s residents.
Ilya Goncharov, Head of Industrial Projects at 3PL, was responsible for this project:
"3PL is a strong logistics partner to-and-from the United Kingdom, because we have enough resources and time to check 5-10 of our suppliers to find the best solutions amongst high-qualified heavy haulers."
