A recent project handled by Burmester & Stüve involved the loading of wind turbine blades at the Port of Sines in Portugal, with a final destination of Vietnam. The oversized, high-value, renewable energy components required specialised handling and extendable trailers were used for transport from storage to the quay alongside the vessel before careful loading.
