Balena Projects are pleased to report a recently handled transformer at Houston Port.
The direct discharge operation of the 103,100kg transformer was a complex operation that required precise planning and flawless execution.
The cargo was carefully loaded using specialised equipment, including polyester round slings, ensuring safe handling throughout the operation. Steel chains, wooden dunnage, and stoppers were strategically positioned to secure the shipment for transit, following comprehensive safety protocols.
For the direct discharge operation, the trailer was positioned at the terminal on time and coordination with the trucker and terminal ensured a seamless process.
The cargo was delivered to its final destination and unloaded safely. This project demonstrates the commitment of Balena Projects to manage every step with care, ensuring efficiency and reliability at every stage.
