Paul Krijger (Thailand Managing Director) states; "Central Oceans is one of the fastest growing firms in the project transport and general cargo industries. Our ongoing success is based on our proven ability to provide customer-driven solutions, setting new standards in our evolving market. We have carved a niche for ourselves by offering industrial clients both standard and tailored transport solutions. Our solutions are not only faster and more efficient, but we are also able to handle the transport of abnormal cargo to difficult or remote destinations. Our hands-on management team and highly experienced project personnel possess an in-depth understanding of the most challenging aspects of complex projects. To ensure all parties are updated every step of the way, our clients are given online access to a tailor made overview of their shipments.

In the recent past, we have built up an impressive track record, predominantly in projects for industries related to: Oil, Gas & Energy; Power Generation; Mining & Metals; Marine; and Infrastructure. We offer our clients a seamless portfolio of support services from the initial planning and budgetary phase to the final delivery and facility start-up as well as added assistance in port attendance during loading and discharging operations. With the trust given by our customers and the reputation we have built up, we continue our expansion and currently have many ongoing projects running throughout the world. 2 examples of our recent work in Thailand are photographed in the below gallery.

The 1st set shows an impressive full charter for a shipment of compartment blocks for 2 complete geological survey vessels (heaviest pieces were 125mt) completed by the Central Oceans offices in Thailand & Hong Kong. The movement involved months of detailed planning including the loading sequence in a restricted Thai navy berth (including warships that moored alongside while the operation took place), advise on preparation of the ship blocks for the sea voyage, as well as the direct discharge of the cargo on more than 10 pontoons and transporting them safely to their upstream destination with limited water access for final fitting & commissioning. The teams, including our own port captain, did a great job and the project was delivered on budget and within time.

The 2nd set shows a shipment of very delicate and sensitive equipment for a power project in Bangladesh successfully moved by the Central Oceans team in Thailand. The team carefully planned the shipment in close cooperation with their client as the cargo had to arrive at the destination within a tight deadline to be discharged midstream to barge. Special attention was given to the sensitivity of the cargo as its length-to-height ratio was 90:1. As such we assisted with both the port captain at the loading port as well as at the port of discharge to ensure the cargo arrived safely and in good order."
