DAKO Move 4 More Ship Engines from Germany to Italy
18th December 2025
DAKO Worldwide Transport have done it again! They have executed the transport of another 4 ship engines, each measuring 795 x 260 x 445cm and weighing up to 80tn, from the river terminal in Mannheim, Germany to a shipyard in Northern Italy.
"The move followed a familiar yet demanding multimodal sequence: loading the engines onto an inland vessel in Mannheim, navigating the Rhine corridor toward Rotterdam, and completing transshipment onto an MPP vessel for the final sea passage to Italy.
Moving four ship engines of this size across Europe calls for clean coordination from the very first lift - especially with narrow delivery slots at the destination."
Another successful example of DAKO managing high-value, oversized cargo safely, precisely, and on schedule.
