Dolphin Shipping Complete Multimodal Shipment to Djibouti

Dolphin Shipping & Logistics (DSL) recently executed a multimodal move from Kuwait to Jebel Ali and onwards to Djibouti.
The company's client had a piling rig and accessories stationed in Kuwait which had to be moved to their new project site in Djibouti.
This move was previously delayed due to:
- Equipment was brought into Kuwait on temporary import basis and the approval had expired.
- Kuwait not being a prominent POL, it was difficult to get a cost-effective freight solution through a breakbulk vessel from Kuwait to Djibouti.
After several failed attempts by other companies, DSL managed to provide a turnkey solution for the client.
They managed to get the temporary import documentation renewed with Kuwait customs and moved the shipment via road to Jebel Ali Freezone for onwards routing to Djibouti.
DSL secured a cost-effective freight solution for the client by loading the cargo as breakbulk on a PIL container vessel on a direct delivery basis, providing an effective multimodal solution within the promised schedule.
