EAF 2014 Employee Customer Service Award Announced

Express Air Freight (PCN representatives in the USA since January 2011) take great pleasure in naming the winners of their 2014 annual employee award to recognise the person, associate or employee at the company that has shown the very best in customer service during 2014.

The annual award, which is in its 6th year, is called: 'The Annual Gary Cusumano Memorial Best in Customer Service Award'. President at the company, David Marx explains "The accolade is named after an outstanding colleague and friend who worked at EAF JFK for over 16 years who, without warning and unexpectedly, succumbed to a diabetes related ailment one weekend in 2008. We promised and committed to never forget him, and to honour his service to our company and his fierce commitment to the customer and customer service". The previous winners, who are all still with the company, were awarded as follows:2009: Mr. Tim Placencio - EAF LAX; 2010: Ms. Grace Kelly - EAF JFK; 2011: Mr. Roberto Ortiz - EAF MIA; 2012: Mr. Dan Lacy - EAF LAS; 2013: Mr. Russ Howitt - EAF JFK and Mr. Dan Kowaluk - EAF ORD (joint winners).

David Marx: "As always, it was a very difficult decision to make, but we managed to narrow down those we thought best exemplified the spirit of this award. Therefore, as we did last year, we have decided to present this year’s prize to 2 people:

Michael Dennler at EAF Chicago (Ocean Department)
Esmeralda Rodriguez at EAF Los Angeles LAX (Import Department)

We honour, congratulate, spotlight, and thank all the above names for their excellent service and dedication to our company, our customers, our vendors and worldwide partners. They have demonstrated their ability to be there for our customers and partners whilst maintaining a positive spirit and attitude. Much appreciation to them. We are very proud of their commitment and each winner will receive a personal prize of USD $2000! We will continue to commit to giving the best customer service to all our partners & customers worldwide and to maintain our excellent reputation in 2015".
