Infreight, our members from Singapore, have successfully handled the transport of a specialised airport function truck from Belgium.

Managed as a door-to-port service, the operation covered every stage - from collection at origin to securing the vehicle onboard a vessel.

Due to the truck’s oversized dimensions, overlength components were dismantled to allow safe stowage on a 40’ flat rack container.

The project required a combination of technical planning and on-ground execution. This included pre-shipment route surveys, lifting strategies, and tailored securing methods.

Heavy-duty lashing and high-tension strapping ensured the unit remained firmly in place throughout the journey.

Close coordination with port authorities and customs officials helped streamline the process and avoid delays, with all operations carried out according to strict safety protocols.
