Khimji Ramdas Deliver for Green Ammonia Project in Oman
26th June 2025

Khimji Ramdas Shipping (KRS) are pleased to report on their recent delivery of oversized capital goods for the Green Hydrogen & Ammonia facility in Duqm, Oman.
This shipment comprised of 14 packages, with one of the units weighing 120 metric tons.
The key to success was meticulous planning and execution, enabling trailers to be positioned under hook ahead of vessel arrival, facilitating a swift discharge and quicker vessel turnaround.
The oversized cargo was then moved to the port yard for customs inspection using specialised trailers, with transits scheduled during the night under police escort, ensuring public safety and traffic compliance.
Khimij Ramdas coordinated closely with port & customs authorities to secure the necessary permissions for delivery to the client’s facility at the Duqm Free Zone.
Additionally, a comprehensive route survey was completed before vessel arrival, and detailed plans for transportation and cargo unloading were shared and implemented in coordination with all stakeholders.
Throughout the operation, KRS maintained strict adherence to health, safety and environmental standards.
"This successful execution again underlines KRS’s reputation as one of the most reliable logistics partner in Oman’s growing renewable energy sector."
