MGL Cargo Services Navigate Challenging Chiller Project

MGL Cargo Services, PCN members in Egypt, share a recent challenge involving the rigging and lifting of six heavy chillers.
The difficult heavy lift had to reach the 7th floor of a building using a 650tn crane with 100tn of weight and fly gib of 14m to reach the other side of the roof safely and securely. The chillers were being upgraded and replacing the previous ones.
MGL Managing Director, Wassim Magdy comments; "The real challenge was the movement of the crane between the antennas implanted on the roof. However, the extensive planning and several surveys we executed with all the stakeholders made this project a complete success."
