MIS Handle Gas Turbines from Sohar to Umm Qasr

PCN members in Oman, Muscat International Shipping & Logistics (MIS) have successfully delivered 45 pieces of breakbulk units from a Sohar power plant to Umm Qasr, Iraq.
The main cargo consisted of 4 gas turbines (each weighing 120tn and measuring 12.4 x 4.3 x 4.4m) plus 41 pieces of their accessories.
Their scope of work included:
- Loading at shippers location & under-hook delivery,
- Route surveys, method statement, & permit acquisition,
- Transportation,
- Vessel chartering & handling,
- Lashing plan, materials, & certification.
Muscat International Shipping & Logistics (MIS) have been active PCN members in Oman since 2014 and are fully equipped with a proven track record and the necessary expertise to handle all sorts of project cargo.
