Timeline Logistics Solutions Deliver Challenging OOG Cargo
27th June 2025

Timeline Logistics Solutions were recently tasked to receive a terminal truck from Poland and delivery it to the New Chancay Port in Peru.
- Cargo Origin: Gdańsk, Poland
- Port of Destination: Callao, Peru
- Cargo: Terminal Truck
- Container: 40'FR OOG
- Transport: Special Lowboy Truck
- Destination: New Chancay Port, Peru
- Dimensions: 4m High & 2.56m wide
- Weight: 15.7tn
- Distance Travelled from Callao to Chancay: 72.4km
Due to the dimensions of the cargo, Timeline Logistics Solutions conducted a thorough route study - especially to confirm if the cargo could pass over a temporary bridge that was recently built at the Chancay entrance as it has limitations on dimensions and weight.
They also managed the port handling and loaded the machine on a special lowboy truck before starting the journey to New Chancay Port.
This operation shows the logistical expertise of the Timeline Logistics Solutions team in handling OOG equipment under difficult conditions. The pre-coordination and the experience of their team led to a successful project.
Carlos Perez at Timeline Logistics Solutions comments; "External problems such as road conditions can affect the logistics efficiency, but when a team meets, works together, studies the route, carefully analyse each element, and builds a plan, the result is a successful job."
Project Challenges:
Oversized Cargo Handling - The extra high dimensions made the operation complicated and needed special trucks and a special route.
Road Conditions - A few weeks before the operation, the bridge that unites the road from Lima to the Chancay City entrance collapsed. However, the Peruvian Civil Defense Institution manage to build a temporary metallic bridge very quickly.
Machinery Conditions - A detailed road study had to be conducted to avoid damaging any bridge that the cargo would pass through.
On Time - Thanks to our escorts, the cargo arrived on time and the final client was satisfied with our service.
